I would simply calmly explain to everyone the mutual benefits of social and economic organization which can be made easier by a universally recognized fiat money, and then create a trustworthy organization that can create such a legal tender.

For all the talk about monetary/social help, I really think you would need to make pregnancy *much* less physically burdensome to really improve birthrates, and it doesn't seem like medical science is particularly close on that front.

Urban liberals have less electoral power and more non-electoral power than their numbers would imply. This is not good for long term stability of the country, and I also think it makes people overrate how permanent the rightward drift of the country will be (I am including myself in people).

An important question is to what extent the current Supreme Court is the culmination of right wing legal culture. There is a world where things get better (not good) because right wing jurists try to move away from complete calvinball towards some type of internal logic.

To be fair, I think if you greatly reduced housing costs without destroying property values, and greatly reduced child/health care costs without lowering the pay of child/health care workers, all within 4 years, your would probably win reelection

My favorite part of visiting my family in Brooklyn is driving back to their place at midnight, having to park on the block where there is street cleaning the next morning, and then having to wake up at 7am to move the car again.

The first int was bad, but made me realize there is a situation when you are down 10 with less than 2 minutes left and no time outs, when turning the ball over on the one inch line is probably the best possible play.
