I am surrounded by people who are outsourcing their own thinking to ChatGPT and they are quickly and obviously becoming dependent on it for even the most banal tasks. Once again, the "figuring it out" is the important part. Yes, you can use a crane to lift weights but you will not get stronger

Everyone, I just talked to two younger people at the gym and neither of them knew what an ad blocker was. I thought the whole thing about younger people not knowing how to use technology was just a podcast lie.

Hilariously the deliberate misunderstanding of the phrase "The customer is always right in matters of taste" has lead to some incredibly bad decisions by corporations.
