even tarkov added a pve mode eventually! I'm a dedicated tarkov player and don't hate the extraction model inherently but I have so many friends who would love this that just wouldn't have a good time losing all their progress and will never play. I'm all for dedicated pve options.

I think lancer did okay at this particular point with anti material sniper builds. New players could contribute with a simple game plan but later frames let them grow into a couple types of "do a lot of damage to far away stuff" with varying complexity that didn't squash expression completely.
