We’re looking at either Colorado or the PNW, around Portland or Seattle. We’re leaning towards Washington but the idea of being so far away is intimidating. But I also don’t think it’s as bad as staying here.

I just don’t feel safe in a place that I called home for 26 years. My fiancé and I feel that we have no choice but to leave Texas this next year after we get married, but this place is all I’ve ever known and I can’t comprehend being so far from everything. It’s so conflicting.
