Kilauea volcano spouted off before we arrived and after we left. I was just shocked that the air and breezes were so fresh and almost cold through the jungle trail to the moon like surface.

‘Akaka Falls, Hawaii. Arrived early at the gate. Moved to let the ranger in. Then everyone swarmed ahead, ticket kiosk had not been activated. Ranger asked if there were any Hawaii residents to show their state ID. We did not have to pay. Had the falls to ourselves for a few glorious minutes.

My spoiled pups, Jasper and Monty relaxing at a caretakers home here on Oahu while we visited the Big Island. They had a better view than we did.
