Does Magic the Gathering Arena count?
If not, I'm being arrested for pickpocketing a misty step spell from a spell store in the city of Baldur's Gate.

I know there is a school of thought that contesting level doesn't have a significant impact on shooting percentage (David Locke has been on this for years), but this year suggests otherwise.
Closest defender makes a very real impact on the shooting percentage.

I wish we could get a more nuanced approach or understanding to what has changed a bit. Not all 3s are the same (location, situation, player shooting, level of contesting etc). Good modern defenses don't JUST limit attempts but force you into lower percentage attempts.

The original post I was responding to said they wanted to get value for him. There was no value obtained for him.

You misunderstand me. This is trading a zero for a zero. It’s nothing.

Go back and look at the mid to late 2nd round (where this pick will likely land) and see how many players pan out at that range. At that point in the draft most decent players’ agents are telling teams NOT to draft their guy so they can sign at a place where they fit better. It’s almost a zero.

Value, like Josh Okogie and a bunch of mid 2nd rounders?

Well, that’s better than a Randle iso after 10 seconds of dribbling into a fadeaway to his right with left hand.

I can’t think of anyone who had a bad game. DJ understands how to defend James. He’s an underrated positional defender and perfect for a deep drop. Strawther shot the ball well. Pwat had some really good smart defensive plays. Russ was the heart. Jamal had some shake again.

Levy is an underrated filmmaker. Just puts out fun movie after fun movie.

You at the game today?

Gerald. This has been rough, man.

Hadn’t thought about that as a function of their playing faster. That’s a great point.

Not to yuck anyone's yum but no thanks. That's like 2-300k in renovations.

This isn’t specifically due to an increase in Nikola Jokic’s numbers in the 2nd half. He is a metronome statistically.
1st half:
14.9/6.4/5 on 10 shots and 59/53/84 shooting
2nd half
15.2/6.4/4.6 on 10.4 shot attempts and 52/46/78 shooting

They have a top 5 offense and defense in the 2nd half of games this year. The ONLY team in the top 5 in both in the 2nd half.
The 3 teams with a better defense in the 2nd half are Orlando, OKC, Houston. The teams with a better offense in the 2nd half are Cleveland, Boston, NYK.

22-23, early season narrative was how bad the D was except in the clutch when they were the best clutch D. Clutch time can be random and just noise. So I looked at halves of games.
Denver in the 1st half in 24-25:
Ortg - 114.4 (9th)
Drtg - 119.0 (30th)
2nd Half:
Ortg - 120.0 (4th)
Drtg - 108.9 (4th)
