I wonder how long it will be until the farm workers, maids, etc stop showing up for work. I think we will be in for a rough ride ahead. About 42% of the farm workers in US are ‘undocumented’. I think there is a good chance the food supply will be impacted this summer.

Had a nice hike in the Arizona Sonoran Desert yesterday. In colossalcave.com mountain park. Lots of trails winding through the saguaro cactus. Came across several circa 1,000 year old grinding mortars in bedrock where Hohokam people ground seeds. Cleo standing over one, awaiting her dinner.
