one lategame mission has a real feisty boss with tons of health, but its own mistake is trying to massacre a huge group. the fastest way to bring it down is to simply have everyone retaliate, hopping continuously to keep the timer happy until they lump up like a katamari on that fucker

in most cases, it provides just enough time to buff and get behind a slitterhead to cut off their host body, cancelling any wards they impose, or to revive anyone on the brink of death.
out in crowded streets, though, it's great for mauling a boss with dozens of pawns, lol

this is from my dorky headcanon in which blaidd maintains his sanity just enough to swallow ranni's primal glintstone, allowing her soul to take root in his body, reuniting them as one being. ranni is able to keep him under control, but the act is torturous as it freezes his blood to the core :)

even tho all the slitterheads use the same base model, it is pretty cool how the space you fight them in really alters your approach. there's nowhere to run from this creep, and what few civilians arrive easily die in the crossfire, so you have to focus on deflection instead
