Mm, that’s true actually. I wonder, assuming there’s no “we will use your voice for AI” or “We won’t use your voice for AI” in the contract, would that mean they could use your voice legally despite technically not agreeing or agreeing?

I’m also trying to get as much news and information on this situation as it’s the heat of GI right now, I don’t mean to antagonize and I always have neutral conversations and will clear up any misunderstandings if my way of words seem wrong.

I see, I have a question. What leads you to believe they would use your voice for AI non-consensually instead of being optimistic about it? Sorry if this sounded rude but I’m a very curious person so I apologize in advance.

Oh no, that’s what I wasn’t trying to do. I’m sorry but I don’t speak well with words and I very much apologize. I am trying to have a mutual conversation. Not trying to do a ‘gotcha’ moment but I do a lot of research on certain topics sometimes so I bring them up.

Now that I think about it, those other VAs probably came back because they were featured in content that they weren’t voice in, and feared recast if they still refused to work.

Good to hear, as you know, multiple full SAG members like Erika, Zach, Sarah, Have been coming back to Genshin to voice. Despite this, why do you still refuse to voice, have you spoken to any of them about this or asked why they made the choice. (Also was it really your choice for the strike)

Oh, okay. Some said you reached out to SIDE and you asked for a confirmation clause or signing with NAVA, but they never responded. Have they done so yet?

I do wonder, are you going to quit as Diluc VA anytime soon? (Sorry if this sounds rude). Also, do you know any others who are not working in Genshin or planning to quit?

Thank you for your answer Sean! I fully support what you stand by but I do have a question: What projects that Hoyoverse is working on uses AI VO? I hadn't really heard anything about that so I'm actually not sure if it's completely true.

Sorry this doesn't relate much to the post but do you know if you're personally going to come back to Genshin in 5.6? If you're unsure, do you know if any other VA might come back within following versions/patches?
