This is the thing I wish some reporter would push back on. Medicaid doesn’t just mail out free cash to these imaginary lazy couch potatoes. Patients have to submit piles of documentation and then money eventually goes to pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes etc.

Damn. He was one of the last, if not the very last, surviving musicians who appeared in 1959’s Jazz on a Summer’s Day. Which was filmed much closer to the dawn of jazz recordings than it is to today.
