At 10:30pm (PST) I called the Malta Prime Minister and spoke to their secretary and it seemed it was the first she was hearing of the situation. I gave the details that were in this article and she said she would let the communications director and the prime minster know what was happening.

At 10:30pm (PST) I called the Malta Prime Minister and spoke to their secretary and it seemed it was the first she was hearing of the situation. I gave the details that were in this article and she said she would let the communications director and the prime minster know what was happening.
At 9:26pm (Pacific Standard Time) I called the Malta coast guard and someone picked up saying they have a ship that should be near and at that time to their knowledge no one was hurt and he could not provide any more information. I've tried calling back for an update and still getting busy.
