Mayor/ Politician with great concern for our civil society and the future of our planet.

Bizarrely also a Japanese automotive historian, who will move that work to another Bluesky account.
Apparently we are.

All you radio pundits… the federal government IS the pipeline proponent. They don’t need a private pipeline company, they own one.

100 percent agree Pete.

Been following the New West situation for awhile now. I wish we had a stronger local media/investigative journalism presence in Metro Vancouver. A spotlight being shone on the whole council situation there would be beneficial.

Been following this from afar. I see things that make me pretty angry about the messaging and the media balance when it comes to coverage of your council. I took Broadcasting at B.C., did 5 years in radio, was a magazine writer after that. Unbalanced media, and “pseudo media”, is a problem in NW.

“Oh Olivia”, he lustily rasped.
“0h Robert” she sighed.
“Our love is like bamboo” he whispered.
She looked at him quizzically.
“Hollow and full of worms?”
He turned away, dejected and hurt. Staring out the window, “No Olivia”, he croaked, “like me, once it took root, it was firm and unstoppable”.

Oh the prose possibilities of Japanese Notweed; it can break apart rock and concrete like so many cold, stone hearts.

Not a Hallmark movie of the Week, but maybe a Harlequin Romance MOTW.

I lived in Burnaby for over a decade… I never understood Burnaby. It was a nice place to live, but I could’ve been in Coquitlam, New West, or Vancouver for all I knew… there was never any feeling of “entering Burnaby”.
