Here are the component parts of the leather flask holster after applying the mahogany dye. The left pic shows the leather with just the dye and the right pic shows how much richer it looks after the antiquing process
Pieces of genuine leather, cut, wet-formed and dyed mahogany. The pieces will be put together to construct a flask holster. Pieces of genuine leather, cut, wet-formed, dyed mahogany and then antiqued to give the color more depth and accentuate the surface texture. Didn't feel much like posting - or being online at all - today, so I thought I'd just drop a few of my happiest past projects to brighten up the timeline a bit. Here's a sketchbook and a metal sign I made inspired by Laura Bailey's Jester Lavorre character on Critical Role.

Hand-made mahogany leather flask holder with an over the top strap that snaps on the front with an antique brass snap. The holster is sat against a brick wall upon an old parchment letter, scattered coins and a dagger and next to a gargoyle candle stick.

Sure, most sorcerers don't need spell books, but why should that stop them from accessorizing with a badass tome at their hip?
