Our kitty boy has pulmonary cancer. We have a consultation with a specialist early next week. Having thisd happen so soon after losing our girl to cancer hurts so freaking much.

Cat integration update - Kouga and Suzumi met, sans barriers, and there were no "upset kitty" reactions (hissing, growling, etc.). Suzumi did return to her territory, but we may be on the way to them getting along!

Had a meeting through the gate (with treats for both) for the kitties this morning. Also let Suzumi downstairs to explore this afternoon, while Kouga was napping. She seemed nervous after a little while, so I followed her back upstairs and gave her some Churu. Still, promising, I think.

Suzumi had her first appointment at the vet yesterday! Everything looked good, though we're still waiting on the results of her (routine) blood and urine tests.

Started doing some face-to-face meetings (with a baby gate between them, for now) between Kouga and Suzumi. No bad reactions (so far), and they did touch noses today!

It's the off-season for outdoor shows, so yesterday, we put the Eurmax in storage until next spring. After having it in the van for six months straight, it's strange not to have it there anymore.
