.. guide would be great. I know Im not a true fromsoft fan because of this, but whatever man. I like a good story and a fun challenge, not an overwhelming challenge where I wonder why I am even playing this game.

I fully accept this is a skill issue and a personal preference. Maybe I will try again (for the 6th time) but maybe following some sort of linear path walk-through or something. I don't need my hand held the entire time, but a "go here, here, and here to level up a bit before going here" sort of ..

.. difficult and so open, I genuinely get a bit lost and discouraged. I loved Bloodbornes linear path with plenty of branching off points. Same for Lies of P. But Elden Ring seems like a majorly overwhelming challenge that leaves me more frustrated than fulfilled.

My only issue with Yotei is it can get pretty repetitive if you do the completion/collecting route because side quests just start to blur together after a while, but besides that.. its great. The story is emotional, the voice acting is great, and its beautiful to look at it. I am happy I got it

I honestly just want more Bioshock in my life.

I just think the location of Rapture is unforgettable and there are tons of different directions you can go with it and story routes you could take. You can even have those same concepts for a different area like Columbia from Infinite, but Rapture is where its at.

Hell, even imagine a game where you play as a little sister and you're trying to make your way back to your big daddy (out of context that sounds weird) but its like Alien Isolation or Amnesia where you have to hide from Splicers and other enemies.
