where i'm from, there's a pile of blackthorn and whitethorn bushes so as a kid when i needed a username for steam, i thought of using one of them for my name. blackthorn won bc i thought it sounded edgier and cooler 😎. then it just stuck around lol

Needed a username for the website GameTrailers back in the early 2000s. Using my teenager brain I started from my initials JD and started sounding off different combinations of words and landed on JDog. Now of course jdog was already taken so added Toocool for originality ☺️

finally free from college. yay! celebrated by doing a small drawing. normally i treat digital art like traditional and just draw & render using normal layers but tried playing around with filters and other tools this time to get the spotlight affect
