PT is more than trains - while commuting to work often depends on trains with distances of 30km, many of the daily tasks requiring mobility are within a nearfield of only 1 to 5 km or 7 km depending where. There, a modern Bus connection is key, but busses are always slower then individual mobility

People should understand how expensive private car dependency really is and the states should make car owners pay for all external costs coming with it....

Sadly many people dont like scheduling their day or activities on public transport timetables, also PT is slower. However, boosting PT and Bicycle traffic is not only good for the environment but also creates more livable cities - at the cost of own personal comfort.
