NSU RO80 on Bangers and Cash on Yesterday tv at the moment. My dad had one in the early 70s as seen in the photo. Unusual at the time and virtually extinct now!

Gutted to hear that we have lost Tom Stoppard.
Not many plays are absolutely perfect but I consider Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and The Real Inspector Hound to be two examples of theatrical perfection. I’ve been lucky enough to be in one and directed the other.
A huge loss to the stage…

Fabulous night at Esquire’s with the irrepressible Martin Stephenson & The Daintees. Martin’s front room gigs every Saturday night during lockdown were a godsend in those dark times.
First saw him back in 1987, been a fan ever since.
Impressed with Nicola Madill the support act too.

My grandad John Ewing, joined up in 1915 at age 19 as a stretcher bearer and ambulance driver in the 16th Royal Scots (2nd City of Edinburgh Batallion).
The grave is that of my great uncle John Cockburn Baxter. He was just 22 years old.
Remembering all those who served and continue to serve.

I started doing a bit of Gàidhlig on Duolingo to help me pronounce the names of whiskies correctly at the Burns Night tasting.
Now regretting learning a language where very few letters are pronounced as they are written! 😂
