Being Black, living in a red state whilst working in a predominantly white neighborhood has its challenges. I often feel overwhelmed & alone BUT tonight I saw this mat outside the door of a resident & it let me know that I'm not alone & I had to meet them. Ask me how it went & I'll gladly tell you 🙏🏿
