The gate keepers aren’t mad. Not sure where you coming from. To say no one is performing country music is ridiculous. Country music is an umbrella for folk, Americana, traditional country, neo-traditional, pop country, country rock.

Country music has its roots with Blacks but its music for all. The rich the poor, the educated the non-educated. White collar, blue collar. It takes guts to go into a different genre. No one should be looking down on Beyoncé.

I would have to disagree slightly on country music sucking. Country radio sucks. They need to look at the European and Australian format. Lots of wonderful indie country out there :)
