And for some reason The Big Bang Theory is always on some channel at all times like it’s a universal law. And furthermore it’s usually with weirdly spotty picture quality and sound.

Likely just repurposed on short notice. It’s not really feasible that a AAA game like CoD gets a skin out from concept to in game in just a week. Takes months just because of the amount of people that the idea changes hands with to get conceived, approved, made, revised, and pushed through QA.

Not many teams can really make something like this happen. It's big shoes to fill. Physics is impressive and fun to play around with for a while, but there was a lot more substance to Gmod than some people give credit to it for. Even if most of it was the talented community it garnered by chance.

Is there really that much criticism of them? I've enjoyed them. But with Garry's Mod as an example I think it's a lot more than the physics. It was easy to mod, numerous props/NPCs from HL2, had multiplayer w/ a server browser, and game mode support out of the box at its critical mass of popularity.

Wish they’d do like Fortnite and let you disable the cel shading. It’s a cute skin but the cel shading overdoes it just a little bit.
