Black women do so much right, that is why so many people are invested in controlling and silencing us. Audre Lorde taught us that the personal IS political. Just check all the oppression involved in getting these phones or even our toothpaste into our hands. Excellent response! #meatlessmonday

I recently found this couple on TikTok. They’re artists who paint together & produce African culture, mythology, and folklore content. They also make great couples goals videos. 🤣 And no homophobia detected. The book in this video costs hundreds, but I found it as a fee PDF while searching for it.

Setting boundaries can be difficult—especially for Black women.
We’ve been socialized to prioritize everyone else before ourselves.
And in the workplace, we’re rarely in a position to set boundaries without consequence.
