I would agree with an "X" or even an "Don't want to answer". I don't think gender is the biggest national security threat when identifying people, but I think that he was trying to make a point that the government needs some sort of standard.

You are welcome. Not all Repubs are nasty - although many can be. I COMPLETELY agree with you that the executive order was unnecessary and I hope that he doesn't dwell on that - just let people be.

If you identify as something other than male or female - that is personality identification. The federal government should not be made to recognize every personality that is out there. Should they also recognize the people who identify as animals? You be you. But the government needs standards.

I think it's fear-mongering to make the assumption that Repubs will act against you if you are LGBTQ. I know plenty of transgender people. Friends female who identify as males and males who identify as females. Which happens to be the two genders that are recognized.

Trump isn't doing anything to prevent people from being LGBTQ. She is just another fear-mongering, political activist. Interesting that the Libs want church out of politics. Unless.... of course..... it suits their agenda.

Are you a proponent of soft-on-crime policies? That is part of the problem. And why the insult? That is also part of the problem. Both sides need to come together to understand each other's POV's. Without that we are running in circles.

I completely agree with you and I am not part of the problem. I believe that A.People have the right to bear arms.As a country, it's time we redefine the word "arms". And 2. Gun shows should be shut down.They are dealers who don't have to do background checks.Pardoning for gun laws is hypocritical.

No but the fact that a Democrat pardoned the illegal purchase of a firearm dictates that Biden really isn't committed to strict gun control.

I'm not a gun person - but I do believe in the right to bear arms. A. I think as a country, it's time to redine the word "arms" and 2. The first thing we should be shutting down are Gun Shows that pop up across the US. Most of them are private dealers who do not need to do background checks. IMO

Thank you. I will definitely read this article. However, I do find it difficult when the Left claims they want stricter gun laws and the President pardoned his son from illegally obtaining a firearm. I'm not saying he shouldn't have pardoned him - but - it's thought provoking to say the least.

With all due respect, it's hard to take the Left seriously when you have a President who pardons his son on federal charges of illegally obtaining a firearm. So.... they want stronger gun control, but they won't enforce it.

Actually, I do. I think we need to actually enforce the gun laws already in place and lock gang-bangers up to prevent innocent lives from being taken.

Interesting that the gun control fight only comes after a school shooting. I'm not comparing the two - that would be gross. However - people are shot on the daily in inner cities and not a peep out of the Liberals.
