That's not a completely unreadable view of it.
But when the cost is to destroy a company, ruin their reputation, and possibly end careers, then I can't not give them the benefit of the doubt.
If the goal is to preserve human creativity, then we must consider the cost of us making a mistake.

Quite likely. If it was in a place you can direct someone to, see if there's a pigeon rescue near you. Palomacy (the biggest pigeon rescue group) has a directory.

It is most likely a wedding release dove. A significant number - sometimes more than half - do not make it back. Being white makes them easy prey, as does the fact that not being raised by wild birds means that they have no survival skills.
