I think we need to stop using that as an excuse. There’s still enough good players out there to defend and/or score.

I hated this performance more than Wolves 🥲 We lack any intensity.
December 20, 2025 at 10:03 PM
He’s not been very good when he’s played in midfield. 🤷
December 20, 2025 at 10:02 PM
It’s absolutely not. Even if our squad was 100% fit, we would expect heavy rotation for a game like this. At home. Top vs bottom. A team on course to be the worst in PL history.
December 14, 2025 at 1:37 PM
It’s Wolves 😂 They’re basically a Championship team at this point.
December 13, 2025 at 11:03 PM
When you have that much attacking talent on the field, just keep the damn ball. I am not having anyone mention defensive injuries as any remote reason/excuse for what we’ve just seen.
December 13, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Dunno what’s worse. The first 85 mins or that last 5 minutes. Absolutely embarrassing.
December 13, 2025 at 9:50 PM
There’s been some uninspiring performances. The execution for the ball in behind has been very poor. This is what Odegaard can do that Eze can’t.

Hopefully MLS is covered in the Arsecast. He’s been taken out of the firing line lately, which is good, but also he’s not starting when our 1st choice is injured, second choice (can argue that) is in LCB.
December 13, 2025 at 7:20 PM
Sure. I’m the one crying 😂
December 6, 2025 at 2:55 PM
They’re on the same points as 7th, basically joint 7th. Resorting to being pedantic. Give over. As I said, we don’t agree. Move on with your life. It’s Saturday, go enjoy the rest of your day.
December 6, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Man Utd are 8th and Tottenham are 11th. Are you changing the rules now? Let’s stop this. We don’t agree. Let’s both move on with our lives.
December 6, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Man City against Liverpool. Man City vs Man Utd, Man Utd vs Sunderland - off the top of my head.
December 6, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Okay, so minus Bayern from that as the outlier- we were great for 90 minutest against teams in the bottom half of the table.
December 6, 2025 at 2:43 PM
The reaction to this game is mental 😂 It wasn’t great and a loss sucks, but this result is hardly the end of the world and won’t define our season.
December 6, 2025 at 2:40 PM
I think we’ve been really good in some, controlled some and then had quite a few periods where we turn it on for 45 minutes. Look at the City game, hammered them the entire second half and the first was controlled. Sunderland, we were awful 1st half and unreal the second. 🤷
December 6, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Yeah cause City are looking like world beaters 🙄 8 goals scored in 2 games and only plus 2 g/d.
December 6, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Can you remember a few seasons ago where there was that spell where we were really, REALLY good for 45 mins every game? Feels like we’re there again.
December 6, 2025 at 2:29 PM
I just don’t like how he goes down like he’s been shot at least once a game. If it was an opposition player I’d be calling him a cheat 😕
December 6, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I have my issues with Merino in general 🥲 One player I can’t warm too. Grateful for his contribution nonetheless.
December 6, 2025 at 2:02 PM
I think Eze isn’t really a left winger and if you combine him with a left back that’s sort of a maverick - it’s always going to be a struggle. There’s times you can see *moments* where it could/should work, but we’re a naturally right tilted team.
December 6, 2025 at 1:50 PM
At the start of this game, I said Trossard 2nd half. Bloody lack of conviction in the gambling market.
December 6, 2025 at 1:44 PM
They wouldn’t have added much of anything to this display. It’s the left side and attack that’s falling over.
December 6, 2025 at 1:25 PM
This isn’t a Merino game. I’m also tired of him going down easily. I’d be critical if it was an opposing player.
