I'm pretty sure that's the 'why' in why anyone cares... Because it's not just baseless lies, it's baseless lies the cult will eat up and point at when bullshit policy gets thrown around for it.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to be far off in that belief for far too many of them, including people I know to usually be far more intelligent. It's painful.
