Hey y'all. Just a person trying to continually aspire to the best version of myself possible, admire art, and also a pretty good "casual" gamer!

I'm talking about the hope that is practiced and that we work for. And we're going to have to work a lot for it, trust and believe. However, we CAN, do it. Our ancestors have survived and outlived this stuff before and we can do it as well as long as we lean on our community

Would've ever been. And honestly, I think I'm going to be looking to do more of that. Prayer, community, joy, solidarity and hope and faith. When I talk about hope, I'm not talking about that fuzzy, toxic positivity, that just says to look on the bright side of things.

3.) Given the trajectory that this country is headed and also my trepidation at how social media is leaving us marginalized folks(me being black and LGBTQ) more vulnerable with a government that is going to reinforce that marginalization in a good number of ways, I've become less willing to engage..

2.) I've spent much more time building MTG commander decks, playing more commander at my LGS, with my housemates, and my partner(who's becoming a better MTG player, even if he doesn't see it as much as I do) working my butt off at my job and trying to build better habits this year.

2/ than any other game to this day. The closest second would be Final Fantasy X. That's mostly because I spent hours on the Monster Arena. Considering that I got a real hit of Nostalgia and am playing through it again, the Legend of Dragoon takes this spot.

1/ Now to catch up #2 is actually a toss up between a couple of games. But for this it's definitely has to be the Legend of Dragoon. Back when renting games was actually a thing, i rented this out at least 2 dozen times, maybe more. The story, the characters, everything just engrossed me more

So for #1, I think my first video game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis. I just remember playing it constantly with my cousins. There's not too much more to say about that, but nonetheless, I loved going fast with a blue hedgehog.
