Anarchist organizing actually has a history in Maine. The successful 1904 anarchist IWW strike at Marston's Mills in Skowhegan was national news and a model for later IWW textile strikes in MA. The 1912 rallying cry in Lawrence, "Bread & Roses", still seems like a good goal in life to me.
