Meeting the inspiring Hannah Beachler, giving her my drawing, saying “thank you” to her for sharing her incredible words and her talent with the world, and seeing her hand drawn production drawings made this an epic day. I’m thankful to have spent this splendid moment with friends, old and new. 💜

Sight of my table with most of the original art. They’re yellowing pretty badly (weren’t made on the right “real” drawing paper). “Aorta” aka “The Kiss” was sold last year to a very nice lady.
Thank you to all who took the time to talk to us and complimented our work at the library today. 💜

This Saturday, September 20th is the Writers & Authors Symposium at Dayton Metro Library, 10am-5pm. Alongside other local writers/authors, I will be there— selling and autographing “Route.” Unfortunately (and thankfully) only one “Route” copy was misprinted, the insert page being on the wrong side.

As my hair continues growing and thickening, it is becoming difficult to braid— though I’m not truly a gifted braider (or parter) to begin with. 😂
I found this awesome green dress on a random thrift shop visit. 💚

I wrote a personal experience essay about my dreams for Chèryl’s character in “Jane Austen Wrecked My Life.” Played by the gorgeous, talented Annabelle Lenghonne, Chèryl the poet could have had something as profoundly romantic as the lead Agathe.

I absolutely love the Me Toons channel, especially the “Wait Until Your Father Gets Home” cartoon. There’s small similarities between Harry Boyle and Homer Simpson. Yet Harry’s smarter and thoughtful than Homer.
Last night’s episode featured Isabel Sanford’s voice (I recognized her right away). 💜
