the idea that an app or this new system is taking away jobs then don't be silly. Humans might have to be around to monitor the system or fix it if it goes down.
I'm sure that if it does indeed go down that the old ways of workers unlocking the cabinet will be a back up plan.

Why do I care so much? I used to work in retail and it sucked so much to have to be pulled away from something I am doing to run and tend to something else and then getting screamed at by my bosses that I wasted time doing another duty instead of theo ne I was tasked with doing. It sucks and this

Now no offense but if you really get upset and scream about wanting to move to Japan because of this being "Your 13th reason" then I guess that's okay.

the world is becoming more reliant on apps and technology. If it can give a worker a chance to perform more duties then I say it's wonderful! And look at the bright side.
If more stores use this system for their locked products then a lot more cash registers can be open and help move the shopping
