Electricity is charged on usage and fixed network charges. Wind and solar are fundamentally different. They have zero production cost. All cost is fixed. At the moment we cant “produce” 24 hours a day. We need batteries and pumped hydro but they are also a fixed cost

I don’t get it. It’s against privacy legislation for Bunnings to use facial recognition, but okay for Woolworths scanners to film you or local government to monitor you as you walk down the street… Where’s the consistency?
