Now that I think about it, if I go to Chipotle, I'll usually get a salad, and I have them put the hot salsa on it... Works pretty well.

Great job, if you worked on that trailer. Throughout the show, there were a bunch of games that looked fine, but I kept thinking "this trailer is bad at conveying anything to get me interested". The Control one looked awesome, but also did a good job of showing just enough of how it plays.

Highly recommend BJJ, if you can find a place that isn't too serious about training for UFC, or something. It's a really fun way to get to fight your friends, and a decent workout.

I've been applying to a lot of game software engineering related roles, and while there a lot of instances with zero response - once I'm talking to a recruiter, the only time I've been ghosted was with Blizzard. Surprisingly good comms with most that I've talked to.

Back when I did games QA, I really appreciated when a community manager would submit bugs, as long as they included halfways-decent repro steps/info. It was just tough if they passed on a description directly from a customer, which often included mostly irrelevant info.

I've felt for a while that this is a major issue with the "centralization" of the internet, on services like twitter (and here). Maybe some rose tinted glasses, but the internet was more fun when it was thousands of little communities with a handful of people, and they were pretty easy to moderate.

Wild... Maybe part of it is different meanings for "on Discord". Dunno about you, but as a 40yo, Discord for me is a replacement for TeamSpeak/Mumble/etc... I don't chat with random people in Discord communities/channels, but I use it just about every day for voice chat while gaming with friends.
