💯 agree with Ms. Crockett. On top of my list of those responsible for the death of U.S. democracy are McCarthy, Johnson, McConnell, and Thune. Then add, SCOTUS members Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Roberts Jr. Also, billionaires Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos and others. Many in the “Press” are in there too.

Indiscriminate USAID cuts are responsible for deaths. I partly agree with both your comment and @crookeddick comment on how “dependence on aid” has been bad for some countries and organizations. Also, how it’s been used by different U.S. administrations to undermine other countries’ “sovereignty”.
