Stop arguing with Republicans on the basis of cruelty, morals, and unjust treatment. The cruelty and unjust treatment is their entire point. They want a hierarchy and don't care if it affects them, as long it affects others more.

Today, Trump will sign an executive order shutting down the Department of Education. He's leaving it to the States while keeping DOE services going.
How the fuck are DOE services and programs going to remain if the whole agency is shut down?
