...and *some* 'Christian' broadcasting. Not all pastors are including politics in their teaching/preaching. Not all Christian broadcasting is doing this either. Unfortunately, those who do reach a lot of ears and influence a lot of people.

Isn't that what Trump does? "Do as I say or I'll have you primaried." First - Durbin is retiring. Maybe others too. Why not work on trying to win seats held by Republicans - in both House & Senate? Focus is on the wrong goals.

I think I'd feel better about it if he said that he was getting feedback from constituents and did what THEY were asking.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social. - promoting people to act in illegal ways? As a resident of Illinois, i don't appreciate that. However, if a fellow Illinoisans need help, I would (have) do that. Also I am aware of several agencies who can help, and also help from cities/towns. No need to break law.

Stop with the acting, Eric. It is beyond obvious! Let's just get serious about moving forward! If you spend time campaigning on righting the wrongs (aka retribution) you'll lose potential converted voters, and disenfranchise those (me) who have already flipped from mainly Republican voting.

I hope you are right that history will judge them, because I feel like society is becoming more & more depraved. Im appalled by the people that cheer this on.... and I live in your old stomping grounds. (Central IL)

I don't understand the people who think this is about who won the election. That is THEIR forever grievance. This is about how DJT is acting AS President. Meghan would be a complete unknown if not for her parents. She seems to be trying to remind people she is still out there.

Who is John Miller? He has quite the rosy view that Chicago Mayor, B Johnson (or Chi. POLICE chief) would have ANY say in how troops are used.

It is very obvious to those of us not brainwashed by Fox + Trump + Admin. However, IL resident here, and I've heard/seen more than a few (dozen) comments negative to Pritzker fighting back. My favorite - "Pritzket doesn't care about the people of Illinois." No, actually - his fight proves he does!
