Oh I’m not disagreeing with you! I’m just scared for the changes he might make. We rely on the benefits we get. And we rely on how the system is set up now!

My husband is a Vet and our closest Va hospital is an hour and a half away. He is seeing a pulmonary dr who is local. He sees him at least once a month, along with many tests he has. It would be a hardship if we needed to travel that far for every appointment.

But the problem with that is not all vets are close enough to VA hospitals or facilities to get the help they need. We are sometimes dependent on outside help.

So sorry for your loss. I lost mine last March and it’s been one of the hardest times in my life. Sending you strength and prayers.
