No. Please do some research on the timeline of warnings. Check out www.theeyewall.com. Also a good article on Forbes that confirms there were adequate warnings. Having said that, cuts will make the next time much worse. This tragedy emphasizes the need to fund NOAA, NWS, and USGS stream monitoring

OMG. My grandfather in Indiana hated chipmunks. I have no idea what they did to him. But we would visit in the summer and he’d have this little trap set out. No bait. He’d catch one, then take it down to the basement slop sink… 😳
