They're very good! Book 4 in particular collects the storyline that the 1990 movie adapted. Also the coloring is pretty excellent I think. For ages I had no idea the original TMNT comics were black and white cuz my only exposure to them was these and the Archie series

For me it was these TMNT collections that we found at like KMart or something when I was very young

I've had my eye on this beast of a set for a while -- 25 films! -- and finally pulled the trigger on it during the B&N 50% off sale.

Something cool I noticed reading through this classic THUNDERCATS collection is that the lettering (by Janice Chiang) always emphasizes the DER in "Thundera"

Kind of fascinated by the idea of adapting a movie adapted from a novel back into a novel.

I've not seen the latest Jurassic World flick but I have the Alexandre Desplat score on while I'm cooking dinner and it's pretty nice. It's appropriately Williams-y but doesn't seem to have much identity of its own?

Tough call, I've watched some good stuff this year but probably LONELY ARE THE BRAVE starring Kirk Douglas. Great script by Dalton Trumbo, great performances, a real tearjerker ending... As soon as I was done I got the book out of the library and really enjoyed that, too
