Idk if it was the ideal choice for my first Orson Welles film…but I was shocked at how crazy this “documentary” turned out to be? Got around to watching Cold War (2018) last night…and holy cow this one is gonna stick with me. Might be another Criterion pickup during this B&N sale. I think it’s one of my favs of the late 2010s? Anyone else see this heartbreaking whirlwind of a romance film? #filmsky #moviesky

Finally watched The New World, my fourth Malick so far, and I was blown away once again!
The perfect story for him to work his magic. His style is once again so beautiful and ethereal here.
