I most loved the 1st Part, Esther's quiet live with her Gran, the office, the tearoom. And then came Mr Banks..

Oh yes I liked the novel a lot.
It was a bit too long I think but the twist was a surprise.
And I prefer "A Helping Hand".
And WHY did Daunt Books use another colour (black) instead the beautiful cream of the two former books?

I'm currently on holiday in UK and travelled by train from Manchester to Stockport & back and the next day Manchester - Buxton (rather short trips) and I loved the service, the friendly & very helpful employees & everything about it! Come to Germany and try to go by train, I wish you luck! 😉

I never got into the Cazalets, too boring. Tried the 1st volume at least twice. But I love some of her other novels.
