View of the Hangzhou city guardian's scenic pavilion from the outside and a lookout tower to the south. Very cool building and you can get a great view of the city from it. There's a teahouse inside as well.

Incredible cat on top of Yu Shan in Changshu. Perhaps the best stray #cat I've ever ran into. 5 out of 5. If you go there, don't be annoying to it. Maybe give it something nice.

Just finished a set of books I had been reading thru very slowly for years. A biography of Mao Zedong "The Morning Deluge" and "Wind in the Tower" by Han Suyin. Originally published in the 70s before Mao died. The second volume I could only find on pdf.

I think the scale and grandeur of some Buddhist temples still really surprises me, even in smaller cities like this. People told me this was modest sized. I remember the sky was so beautiful this day with big bright rays of sunlight coming through the clouds.

When I did this I felt like there should have been a rewarding "ding" sound and mysterious chest should have appeared nearby. I probably should have lined it up between their necks. I'm terrible at this game.

I often can't decide which photo of a subject is better tbh. If a site gives me the option to post unlimited photos I would probably just post them all and let the viewer decide. I'm too lazy for that.
