You might find some things in this book “Candy Experiments”
I have been working to remove it from our sophomore labs at ONU. Using EtOAc instead of DCM for an extraction lab this term. Fairly simple for us. Also, since we are at it, looking to replace hexanes with heptane where ever possible.
