I don't usually post obits for people I don't know personally, but as a (relatively) strong chessplayer who had a high regard for both Hort's play and his human qualities, I'm making an exception here. RIP, Vlastimil Hort.

I am unfamiliar with the speaker or organization here, but I will agree from personal experience that something is broken in New Mexico medical care that is causing physicians to leave the state. Any more informed opinions on what he's talking about than mine?
