I saw Adolescence. It really moved me. I’ve been concerned about ‘manhood’ for a while.

It’s right to want a fair and inclusive world. But boys hear masculinity is toxic, they are privileged, men are a problem.

Unless you’re a bro’, rich and attractive.

And by and large we’ve left ‘em to it.

Fair to say David Lynch introduced me to the idea that stories don’t have to always be enjoyable.

He set me off a journey an algorithm never will.

Gonna miss you fella.

I wasn’t nominated for a BAFTA. I wasn’t in anything to get nominated but is that really the point?

Congrats to those who were though. I think.

Blown away by the accolades I got for my acting in The Moor. This year I’m aiming at a decent role in a BFI or/and Sundance movie.

Let your director friends know I’m available😀😀😀

And thanks for your support you lovely people. 😊😊

Forgot my books on holiday. Bought Harlan Coben at the airport.

Realised it was part of a series. Then went a bit overboard. Anybody else do this?

PS I only read half the original book. Had to start the series first😱

Finally watching The Muppet Christmas Carol this Xmas. A tradition I love.

I always look at Steven Macintosh and smile. His performance in Prime Suspect as ‘The Street’ sowed the seeds of acting in me.

Cheers bud 😀

Just posted on TikTok and Instagram why I’m not seen as a newcomer in the acting industry.

And no it’s not because I had a couple of TV one liners decades ago.

Have a guess?

What does it say about you, that your 9yr old likes reading War and Peace as a bedtime story? Albeit the kids version.

Watched Black Doves(Netflix) l. Finishing The Jackal (Now). Watched Red Rooms. The Chaser next (BFI Player).

For those who want a dark Christmas The Moor is still available to rent or buy in the UK. Or you can see it in Spain if you stream amc+

I haven’t left X. But my feed is full of posts trying to terrify and depress me. I honestly don’t blame people for freaking out about everything. It’s a constant barrage of shit sandwiches for people who already feel shit. And are looking for someone to give a shit who looks like they give a shit.

The Moor is trending in Spain. Available on amc+ planet horror and prime video.

It’s a film drenched in the psychology of the North of England. Let me know if you’ve seen it.

Normal People TV show is giving me real flashbacks to my own journey as a working class kid into the alien realms of higher education and the arts.

And tbh it still all feels a bit alien at times. Don’t feel like an imposter though.

My little lad has gone off Netflix. So we are seeing more BBC stuff.

I started watching Normal People. Just a bit late to the party 😂

So whilst I was working at M&S last week. A customer asked if I was an actor and in The Moor.

First time I’ve been recognised. Think she was shocked I was at M&S😂

Yesterday I was stopped and asked the same thing during the school run.

Does that mean I’m twice as famous as I was last week?
