I saw Adolescence. It really moved me. I’ve been concerned about ‘manhood’ for a while.
It’s right to want a fair and inclusive world. But boys hear masculinity is toxic, they are privileged, men are a problem.
Unless you’re a bro’, rich and attractive.
And by and large we’ve left ‘em to it.

Normal People TV show is giving me real flashbacks to my own journey as a working class kid into the alien realms of higher education and the arts.
And tbh it still all feels a bit alien at times. Don’t feel like an imposter though.

First time I’ve been recognised. Think she was shocked I was at M&S😂
Yesterday I was stopped and asked the same thing during the school run.
Does that mean I’m twice as famous as I was last week?
