Hoping for a sustainable & affordable future
Don't think there is any 'we' now Amy - most people are just desperately trying to keep their heads above water and have little time for other concerns.

Fossil-fuel donations
November 20, 2025 at 9:52 AM
Thx for clearing that up The Daily Show - it's an easy mistake to make!

COP that!
November 20, 2025 at 2:15 AM
What do you mean continue? Didn't our government stop the renewables transition and change to a "gas-powered recovery", a change that Australians all pay for through taxes and insurance and higher-power prices ...
November 20, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Or Monty Python's "Galaxy Song"? 😛
November 19, 2025 at 11:53 PM
Apparently the world has just discovered that Australia's Emperor Albo "wears no clothes" when it comes to climate change ...
November 19, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Wee indeed need that 😛
November 19, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Chris is just as complicit - he is happy to deny that we are giving away much of our gas to Japan even as they benefit from cheaper power & their companies re-export it for profit.

I think this ship has passed unfortunately ...

I was trying to think of something clever to say Nick but the reality is that I am now just sad & depressed. How does a country with huge renewable resources, with a diverse multilingual educated population who mostly get along, decide that following the failed US model is the key to the future?
November 19, 2025 at 12:09 AM
You keep fighting against that conclusion as you want to be positive but the evidence is now hard to argue against ... 🙁
November 18, 2025 at 11:53 PM
Yep, can relate. Was hoping for a large crossbench to hold the balance of power, yet the sheer awfulness of 'The Monster' Dutton pushed ALP into majority and Albo somehow takes this as a sign that they should become the new LNP. Such a betrayal of hope ...

Do you need science if your aim is to turn Australia back to the quarry it once was?
November 18, 2025 at 10:39 AM
No, nothing deep like that - they are just flailing around madly hoping for something to distract people from their implosion ...
November 18, 2025 at 10:35 AM
BTW ALP Staffer I've noticed you've stopped running your Medicare Ads. Is this because Albo has decided to strip money from our hospital system so he can keep sending billions to Führer Trump for non-existent submarines as part of $365 Billion+ AUKUS? www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
'Beyond belief': PM tells states to spend less on hospitals
Health ministers are furious with a letter from the prime minister demanding they rein in spending if they want a public hospital funding deal honoured.

But what about streaming companies from Japan Albo? Are you planning to let them take all our content for free and let them on-sell it to their Asian customers to make a profit at our expense, just like you do with our gas? 裏切者ですね、労働党は! #auspol #SoldOutByALP thepoint.com.au/news/251118-...
Japan imports Australian gas yet has cheaper electricity than Australia?
The broken nature of Australia energy market has been highlighted by a report that Japanese households pay less for electricity than Australians do, despite Japanese electricity being reliant on Austr...

Anyway, keep up the good work - ALP will need all the help they can get as Australians wake up to the fact that Labor are just as venal and awful and captured by donors as the rapidly imploding LNP! 🙂
November 18, 2025 at 1:19 AM
I'm next door in Macnamara and donated to Zoe because I wanted to see a candidate who actually has genuine support within the electorate. I hope @zoedaniel.bsky.social runs again and helps start to bring an end to local members who do just what head office tells them to (like Josh Burns here 🫤)
November 18, 2025 at 1:11 AM
I do hope Zoe runs again - at the v. least Timmy trying to explain LNP BS should be more than entertaining 😛
November 18, 2025 at 1:05 AM
I finally got around to watching that SBS series on Robodebt Nick and what stands out is that nothing has changed. Still no prosecutions for illegal conduct carried out in Robodebt while our government continues to turn a blind eye to continued illegal conduct within Services Australia. Corrupt ...

If we keep voting for this ALP/LNP duopoly that sells us out then I think you are right 🫤
November 18, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Well how about giving us your alternative then David - you are in a Party that would like to form government at some stage aren't you? I still haven't seen a better alternative than what former submariner and Senator Rex Patrick came up with: #AUKUS
November 18, 2025 at 12:50 AM
I wonder how much it is education Ian and how much it is the Murdoch media driving this narrative over many decades? I think this is also the result of not bringing in 'truth in politics' legislation, allowing esp. the Nats to weaponise BS in order to keep fossil-fuel donations & stay afloat.
November 18, 2025 at 12:44 AM
40 followers - is this another ALP Bot that tries to justify ALP's selling-out of Australians? Albo's ALP is same as LNP - more fossil-fuels, AUKUS, no public housing, exploitation & abuse of Jobseekers - so the only thing we can do is vote for genuine opposition ie. Indies, Greens & Teals. #auspol
