Yes. Before the dot-com crash Sun Microsystems expanded operations due to the demand. After they lost sales from 1) fewer companies purchasing, and 2) companies that wanted to buy got second hand equipment from companies going bankrupt. Sun was too large to be sustainable after that double hit.

RSS for a good comic. Or e-mail notifications of posts if no RSS.

For a great comic with no RSS and a regular schedule I'll use bookmark folders to follow. (That's an actual regular schedule, not mostly regular.)

No regular schedule, I'll check in quarterly.

I don't depend on social media feeds.

Why don't the Emoji Stats have commas (or spaces) every three characters in the numbers? It's hard to understand numbers that large without some guideposts.

I looked in the OED. The 1878 example had an apostrophe, but 1880 and later didn't. But the transition might have been regional.

If the e-mail was sent by a person ask for more information and if it went away. If an automatic e-mail contact support for help. Good luck.

I tried on a phone and a couple of computers, several browsers, and it worked perfectly.

It could be a crash issue in something other than the web server, or it could be that the webserver serves a few pages, crashes, and restarts to serve a few more.

Only members of the house can vote, so a non-member speaker couldn't vote. The speaker would be in the line of succession, but would only assume the powers of president if they qualified (citizen, at least 35).
