Definitely happens, whenever I use the word keyboard in that context I try to add something to help people realise it's not the typing kind, or no one knows what I'm talking about (though that's probably true anyway).

Also in one of their replies they mentioned that Facebook's block feature works in a similar way. Show of hands, who still uses Facebook (especially for *public* posts)?

More than likely Microsoft, OpenAi, Facebook, etc probably all pay for rights to scrape X/Twitter for content anyway. Plus, the site being overrun with bots doesn't inspire confidence. I'm 100% positive all those AI companies have just as much access to X as they do here or anywhere else.
