There is nothing Hoyo can do outside moving everyone to China at this point. They should have kept their focus on Formosa, and took the massive W when Hoyo moved to SIDE.

The AI protections always have been a total red herring for this particular strike. Ans people are being recast for exactly two reasons. Not doing their job and leaving big chunks of the EN dub voiceless, and in Corina's case, pissing off the fanbase to an extreme degree.

It's not up to Hoyo to make sure they apply outside China. It's up to the American studios. And you don't need to strike either, just move to a better one. SIDE also already provide AI protections, and Hoyo moved there due to all the issues with Formosa. They're being plenty accommodating.
