you may want to stay in the EU,

the government may want to stay in the EU,

but isn't there someone you forgot to ask??

Because not only are they guzzling water to produce mechahitler, but they are exploiting society as a whole in order to do it quickly.

i had to choose words I didn't want to to reach char limit but I mean you're progressive and you were in Oxford like...

you know better than most how it continues to be a tool for class division I don't think I need to explain past conservatism and bourgeois interests
December 18, 2025 at 4:25 PM
I mean that's great and all but I believe the main point is that Oxbridge is an incubator for conservatism

I don't believe that progressive people existing in unis contradicts the existence of the bullingdon club. Your existence in Oxbridge is the historical outlier, unlike bougie protectionism..

It seems like labour has carried on the decades long tradition of pretending anything north of Birmingham is not real
October 23, 2025 at 9:06 AM
But again, it doesn't matter. I really want to reiterate that this is a parliamentary problem that extends beyond espionage, and you can see that with the labour together finances, or with the numerous lobby groups that fund reform and make the Tories feel entitled to electoral victory.

Sure we had detective Gardiner on the case, and he personally stopped Christie Lee and all corruption in parliament 🔥

But I was actually talking about Peter Kyle going to China before waiting for the internal china audit, signaling to the world that we can overlook crimes if you are a trade giant

Tories had there fair share of scandals, namely Russian influence. I think it's a bipartisan issue of foreign influence, and goes beyond just this case.

The questions surrounding this case, despite your speculation, have not been answered. I doubt they will as both parties do not take this serious
October 16, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Yes both parties have pushed the idea of China being a national threat and a beneficial trade partner

But only one has had a recent scandal involving China and a front-bencher and only one has supposedly dropped diplomatic statements for China during an open court case on Chinese spies.
October 16, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Ok I'm being a dick- but seriously

I think there are some reasonable concerns surrounding this statement, and until more than out of context witness statements come out, I don't think it's wise to speculate on the thought process of the government
October 16, 2025 at 11:21 AM
Very sensible diplomatic move you've invented for labour there.

"China we think you are spying on us at an unprecedented scale to which threatens our national security, but we love you really"

this also seems unlikely due to it being a private court. There was no intent to publicise at the time.
October 16, 2025 at 11:18 AM
And the witness statement itself which I forgot to link in the first tweet (my fault lol)
October 16, 2025 at 10:14 AM
from the article in the original tweet.

Conservative MP Neil O’Brien said: “At PMQs Starmer said that the only thing that mattered was the position of the previous Conservative government.

So why does the third witness statement from the 4th of August talk about the policy of the present Labour government, in the present tense?”
