Got a special treat from the library yesterday. My hold came in for this delightfully creepy picture book. A collab between @stephenking.bsky.social & the art of Maurice Sendak. It is as true to the original as Sendak’s cache of art allowed w/ a few tongue in cheek lines that made me laugh out loud

Stopped by a little farm market in Galloway, Ohio yesterday. The sweet corn was in and the local staff was very willing to help with the green parts.

June 14th was Pride in Columbus so people showed up with both 🏳️🌈 and ✊ signs. Some were both. A favorite example was “No Kings, Yaaas Queen.” Not the best pic, but this one does give a sense of scale. Our “float” was ~halfway through the parade and we stepped off an hour or 1 1/2 after it started.
